The Peninsula Montessori Centre, through the dedication of its staff and parental involvement, is committed to helping children become confident, independent individuals with well-developed powers of reasoning and an enthusiasm for learning.
We believe that children develop these qualities as they become increasingly able to take advantage of the unique environment that a Montessori classroom has to offer.
We follow the educational philosophy of Dr Maria Montessori in order to provide children with an individualised learning experience that can last a lifetime.
Our centre runs a Playgroup for up to 2.5 year olds, a Small Group for 2 .5 to 3 year olds, and a Big Group for 3 to 6 year olds (Cycle One)
At the completion of Cycle One or for children with two or more years of experience with in a Montessori environment, Cycle Two is available through our local Karingal Primary School.
